Local government register of political parties
We are required to publish information and documents in relation to each party that is registered for state and local government elections.
The written constitutions published here are provided to us by the registered parties. If the information is not accessible to you, please contact the relevant party directly to request accessible material. For more on accessibility of this website in general, please see our accessibility statement.
The full registers are available to view by appointment at our office.
To nominate candidates for a local government election a political party must be registered under the Local Government Act 1993.
State registered political parties are also eligible to nominate candidates for local government elections.
