Agent training
Prospective agents must complete the NSW Electoral Commission's online agent training program prior to being appointed as an agent. The training consists of informational material and a multiple choice assessment.
Prospective agents must achieve at least 80 percent in the assessment in order to successfully complete the training.
Some people are not required to complete the training prior to being appointed as an agent, including:

a Certified Practising Accountant member of CPA Australia, New South Wales Division

a member of, and holding a Certificate of Public Practice issued by, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, New South Wales region, or
-
a member of, and holding a Professional Practice Certificate issued by, the Institute of Public Accountants.
When you have successfully completed the program, you may be eligible to be appointed as an agent.
