2024 Mid-Western Regional Council by-election

A by-election for Mid-Western Regional Council must be held following the resignation of a sitting councillor.

If you are eligible to vote in New South Wales and your enrolled address is in the Mid-Western council area, you must vote in this by-election.

If you are not enrolled in or are not eligible to be enrolled in the Mid-Western council area, you cannot vote in this by-election.

Voting options for this by-election will include:

• pre-poll (early voting) at a pre-poll venue*
• voting in person at a polling place on election day
• postal voting*
• telephone assisted voting for electors who are blind or have low vision.*

Nominations for the Mid-Western Regional Council by-election must be lodged from Monday, 28 October 2024 to 12 noon Wednesday, 6 November 2024. Late nominations will not be accepted.
