2024 Lachlan Shire Council (E Ward) by-election

A by-election for Lachlan Shire Council (E Ward) must be held as fewer candidates nominated than the number of councillors to be elected at the 2024 Local Government elections to be held on Saturday, 14 September 2024.

If you are eligible to vote in New South Wales and your enrolled address is in the Lachlan (E Ward) council area, you must vote in this by-election.

If you are not enrolled in or are not eligible to be enrolled in the Lachlan (E Ward) council area, you cannot vote in this by-election.

Voting options for this by-election will include:

• pre-poll (early voting) at a pre-poll venue*
• voting in person at a polling place on election day
• postal voting*
• telephone assisted voting for electors who are blind or have low vision.*

Nominations for the Lachlan Shire Council (E Ward) by-election must be lodged from Monday, 14 October 2024 to 12 noon Wednesday, 23 October 2024. Late nominations will not be accepted.
