An election will be held on Saturday, 23 November 2024 to elect one councillor for the Junee Shire Council.

Voting is compulsory.

Postal voting

You may be eligible to vote by post. Check your eligibility and apply for a postal vote on our website. You can also apply over the phone or by downloading and printing a form available on our website.

Applications must be received by 5pm, Monday,18 November 2024.

Early voting

Check your eligibility to vote early on our website. Voting is open on Saturday, 16 November 2024 and from Monday, 18 November 2024 to Friday, 22 November 2024

Locations can be viewed on our website. Opening hours may vary for each location.

Telephone assisted voting

Telephone assisted voting is only available to people who are blind or have low vision. Electors can apply and vote from 9am Saturday, 16 November 2024 and from Monday, 18 November 2024 to Friday, 22 November 2024.

Voting (only) is also open from 8am to 1pm on election day Saturday, 23 November 2024.

Eligible voters can register on our website or by calling 1300 24 86 83.

Voting on election day 

Polling places will open from 8am to 6pm on Saturday, 23 November 2024

Electors must vote in their area or ward and can find information about where to vote on our website.

Registered electoral material

Electoral material (how-to vote cards) registered for distribution on election day are available on our website from Monday, 11 November to 6pm, Saturday 23 November 2024.
