Nominations closed: Berrigan, Cowra, Junee and Lachlan Shire (E Ward) by-elections

The candidates for the Berrigan, Cowra, Junee and Lachlan Shire (E Ward) by-elections on Saturday, 23 November are now confirmed.

The NSW Electoral Commission received only one nomination for the Lachlan Shire (E Ward) by-election. This by-election is uncontested and electors in Lachlan Shire (E Ward) will not have to vote. Judith Bartholomew will be declared elected by the Returning Officer on Thursday, 24 October.

Following the ballot paper draws for Berrigan, Cowra and Junee today, candidate names and details will be published on the NSW Electoral Commission website in the order they will appear on each ballot paper.

Media are invited to attend the ballot paper draws at 10am at the Returning Officers’ office for each local government area:

Berrigan: Berrigan Shire Council, 56 Chanter Street, Berrigan NSW

Cowra: Cowra Council, 116 Kendal Street, Cowra NSW

Junee: Junee Shire Council, 29 Belmore Street, Junee NSW

The result of the Lachlan Shire (E Ward) by-election will be declared at the Returning Officer’s office at 10am:
