Distribution of preferences for the Legislative Council

The distribution of preferences for the Legislative Council will take place 11am Monday, 15 April 2019 at The Portside Centre, 207 Kent Street, Sydney.

The distribution will take place by computer with the results being displayed on a screen.

It is expected that the count, including the formal declaration, will take approximately one hour to complete.

Members of the media, scrutineers, candidates and interested parties are invited to attend. No RSVP is required for this event.

On Tuesday, 16 April 2019, following the distribution of preferences, the Electoral Commissioner (as Returning Officer for New South Wales) will declare the results. Notice of the Commissioner’s declaration will be published on the NSW Electoral Commission website at elections.nsw.gov.au

Any attendees are advised that as this is a public event, you may be filmed or photographed.
