Start of the NSW electoral districts redistribution process
The Electoral Districts Redistribution Panel (the Redistribution Panel) has been appointed by the Governor and directed to distribute New South Wales into electoral districts in accordance with the Electoral Act 2017. The Chairperson of the Redistribution Panel announced the start of the public consultation process today.
The Redistribution Panel now invites written suggestions relating to the distribution of New South Wales into electoral districts. Any suggestions lodged during the suggestion period will be published for public inspection and comment. Comments on any such suggestions are then invited. Any comments received during the comments period will be published for public inspection.
