What is a disclosure?

A disclosure is the reporting of political donations and electoral expenditure to the NSW Electoral Commission. Penalties apply for non-compliance.

The NSW Electoral Commission is required by law to publish details of political donations and electoral expenditure disclosed by parties, candidates, donors and other political participants.

Pre-election period donation disclosure

Reportable political donations must be disclosed within 21 days in the lead up to a NSW State general election. Find out more about how and when to disclose.
