Five candidates nominate for Ku-ring-gai - Wahroonga Ward by-election

Nominations for the Ku-ring-gai Council - Wahroonga Ward by-election to be held Saturday, 30 May closed at 12 noon yesterday.
The following five candidates have nominated to contest the by-election:
Duncan MCDONALD
Darren BARK
Peter ARMSTRONG
Jeffrey PETTETT
Helen WILLIS
Electors may view each candidate’s information sheet at www.elections.nsw.gov.au or at the office of the Returning Officer.
Pre-poll and Postal voting
Electoral Commissioner Colin Barry reminded voters of early voting options.
“If you cannot get to a polling place on election day you can still make your vote count by casting a pre-poll or postal vote”, said Mr Barry.
Postal vote applications will be accepted up until 5.00pm on Monday, 25 May.
Pre-poll voting is available Monday to Friday, commencing Monday, 18 May and closing at 6.00pm on Friday, 29 May, at the Ku-ring-gai Council Chambers, 818 Pacific Highway Gordon.
Election day is Saturday, 30 May. Voting is compulsory for all residents on the electoral roll.
