Postal voting closes soon for the Port Macquarie By-election to be held on Saturday 18 October.

Electors who cannot get to a polling place on Election Day, including anyone who will be interstate or overseas, can apply for a postal vote. Applications close soon so you shouldn’t delay,” said NSW Electoral Commissioner Colin Barry.

You can vote by post by lodging a postal vote application with the Returning Officer for Port Macquarie by Monday, 13 October 2008 if you’re overseas or Wednesday, 15 October 2008 if you’re in Australia.
