Postal voting closes soon for State By-elections
Postal voting closes soon for the Cabramatta, Lakemba Port Macquarie and Ryde By-elections to be held on Saturday 18 October 2008.
“Electors who cannot get to a polling place on Election Day, including anyone who will be interstate or overseas, can apply for a postal vote. Applications close soon so you shouldn’t delay,” said NSW Electoral Commissioner Colin Barry.
“You can vote by post by lodging a postal vote application with the Returning Officer for your electoral district by Monday, 13 October if you’re overseas or Wednesday, 15 October if you’re in Australia”.
