Prospective candidates are reminded that nominations for the Port Macquarie by-election close at noon tomorrow, Friday 19 September 2008.

Candidates must lodge a nomination form, child-related conduct declaration and a $250 nomination deposit with the Returning Officer by the deadline.

Nomination forms and the Handbook for Candidates and Parties - State By-elections are available from the Returning Officer or from the NSW Electoral Commission’s website,

www.elections.nsw.gov.au

The ballot paper draw will take place at the Returning Office at 2pm following the close of nominations.
