Manly residents go to the polls

Manly residents will go to the polls this weekend to decide the future of the old Seaforth TAFE site and town centre.
The poll will be conducted in a defined area by the NSW Electoral Commission (NSWEC) this Saturday 3 May on behalf of Manly Council.
A roll of 8,200 residents has been prepared for the poll, however, voting is not compulsory. The defined area includes residents of Clontarf, Balgowlah Heights and Seaforth. A detailed map of the voting area is available on the NSW Electoral Commission’s website at www.elections.nsw.gov.au
Polling places will open from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm at the Balgowlah Heights Public School, NBSC Balgowlah Boys Campus and Seaforth Public School.
Pre-poll voting will take place at St Paul’s Anglican Church conference room, 1 Frenchs Forest Road, Seaforth until Thursday 1 May from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and on Friday 2 May between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm.
If you are entitled to vote and your name is not on the roll being used at the poll, you may
make a declaration vote on the prescribed form available from a polling place officer.
Residents can view the results from 7pm on polling day by logging onto the NSWEC
website.
