People have until 5pm Friday 10 October to register material to be handed out on election day at the Port Macquarie By-elections to be held on Saturday 18 October.

Electoral material, including how to vote cards, to be distributed on election day by any person or organisation, must be registered.

Electoral material distributed before election day is not required to be registered but must comply with electoral legislation.
